About Our Medical Clinic
Uganda has one of the worst healthcare records in the world, as 51% of people don’t have any contact with public healthcare facilities. What worries the locals most in life is probably their health and the health of their family. In October 2018, a medical team from the USA visited us on a short-term mission trip, offering free ophthalmology consultations and glasses for hundreds of people, laying the foundation for what was to come.
Refuah Medical Center opened its doors on March 1, 2021, and it’s currently providing the following services:
general medicine, ophthalmology, sonography laboratory with automated hematology analyzer, pharmacy.
Our dedicated team currently includes:
2 doctors, 3 nurses, 1 laboratory technician, 1 laboratory supervisor, 1 optometrist, auxiliary staff (one receptionist and one cleaner).
By God’s grace we plan to expand our facilities in the future to include dentistry and maternity care. We really hope that this place will be a healing place for many and a blessing for this community!
